Community Corrections consists of five separate programs:
- Electronic Monitoring
- Day Reporting
- Drug Court
- GED Testing
- Community Service
Each program is assigned to an individual based on court sanctions and risk assessment needs. These programs aim to help offenders return to the community as a productive member of society. By utilizing evidence-based practices, this is a much cheaper and effective way of dealing with lower risk offenders than the traditional jail sentence.
